Food and Equipment on the Island. Please try to source everything you need prior to coming to Skye there are shops and one outdoor shop in Portree but it's fairly hard to source things once there. Around the Southern end at Glenbrittle there is only an campsite shop although an excellent cafe its limited for food.
For food Broadford and Portree have supermarkets but you may not find the ‘boil in the bag’ style mountain food.
Many thanks and please get in touch with any questions and queries you may have.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions or for any help in preparing for your traverse.
