NORTH WALL WALK

Our North Wall walk is both a summer and winter walk which suits a half or full day from Fort William. One of our experiences guides will lead this trek to the magnificent North Face of Ben Nevis. This walk takes you through the forests on the lower slopes up to the deep valley of the Alt Mhuillin and on to the CIC hut. This mountain hut steeped in mountaineering history has long been the staging post for the icy climbs on the North Face. There are spectacular views up into the imposing cliffs with the opportunity to walk a little closer to the cliffs. This is where we have lunch and then turn around with depending on time two options for descent back down to Fort William.

We provide all the mountain safety equipment such as first aid kit, group shelter and we issue each participant an orange survival bag where required. We don’t provide maps but carry one ourselves and can advise which sheet and scale would be best for the course that you are on.
