SHORT & FAMILY WALKS

For those who would like to experience the mountains but are perhaps short on time or have young children in tow then we offer some shorter guided experiences. The Highlands has numerous short walks that still get you into the wild and remote mountain areas of the Highlands. These can be half day walks or longer walks at lower levels. Numerous spots from impressive waterfalls, hidden valleys away from the crowds or even the venues used in films such as Harry Potter and The Highlander.

Suggested highlights would be.

The Hidden Valley, Glencoe. A half day walk in the heart of Glencoe into a remote and stunning valley away from the crowds.

Steal Waterfall, a huge waterfall with stunning walk through the gorge all under the watchful eye of the UK’s highest mountain Ben Nevis.

CIC hut and North Face, A walk through the stunning Alt Mhuilin valley to the historical climbers hut under the impressive walls of Ben Nevis’s North Face

Chamlanin Gap, a walk around the Northern Edge of the Cairngorms national park mountains to an impressive granite gorge with views across the deep Larig Grhu glen.
