NW HIGHLANDS MOUTAINEERING

The summits of the North West Highlands offer some of the finest and most remote mountaineering experiences in the country, with a unique feel provided by the rough, perfect friction of Torridonian sandstone.

We offer guided journeys across iconic routes such as the traverses of Liathach, An Teallach, Beinn Eighe & Beinn Alligin are just a few of the highlights. This is an area we know well, and we love delivering guided climbing and walking programs here. Many of the classic traverses do require a rope and the skills to use it, and we also offer a range of more technical rock climbing courses, perfect for those seeking wild, remote adventures.

If you have a specific ridge or summit in mind, we’d be happy to facilitate your journey. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, we can create a customised program tailored to your ability and aspirations.

Our courses include a harness, helmet, and belay plate at no extra cost, and we provide all necessary hardware, ropes, a first aid kit, and other mountain safety equipment. A full kit list is available on our site, and we’re always happy to answer any questions you may have.
