Ive had a busy couple of weeks running intro to climbing courses which have gone very well. Its been a mix of getting people competent seconds and and getting the essential skills to get going in the climbing world. For some its an introduction and for others and improvers course. We are pretty blessed with the perfect venue for climbing a single pitch granite dome with routes of all grades and an outlook like no other. Views across conservancies which at the moment are very much in need of rain and views out to Northern Kenyan and Samburu.

The focus has been on creating competent seconds and group members who can use a climbing wall. These have all gone very well and hopefully many more to come. We had a fun day pre courses just checking things and having a good look at what else the crag has to offer with Bianca and Jo, every time we go and have a look at the crag something new presents itself that we can use, the crag that keeps on giving.

We have also found a great little venue just below camp for some bouldering and technique. Rather polished river bed rock but with a bit more of a clean up it will make a useful addition to our venues. For those interested in rock climbing courses the take a look at http://riftvalleyadventures.com and email info@riftvalleyadventures.com for further details. For us its a weekend of relaxing a bit and then into the next round of courses and trips.
